This is something that got into my head after watching the 'Star vs. The Forces Of Evil' winter finale. It's based off the song 'I Won't Back Down' by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. CAUTION: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. ROLL TAPE!
Her Magic Instruction Book was stolen, Glossaryck was gone, Jackie had stolen Marco from her. Star had thought she was losing everything she cared about. But Marco had saved her from flying into her own black hole. Star was conflicted, confused...she was in love with her best friend. One problem, he was with Jackie...how was Star gonna get Marco now?
"You can't give up, Star!" she told herself. "Marco wouldn't back down, why should you?"
She conjured a guitar with her wand and started playing a song she heard Marco singing almost every day when he was chasing Jackie.

Little did Star know, Marco, Jackie and Janna were watching.
"Star's not one to give up easily," Janna deduced.
"I know," Marco said. "I feel so guilty for not keeping my promise to go to the dance with her."
"I blame myself too, Marco. Had I known you and Star were going to the dance together, I wouldn't have interfered," Janna said, taking off her beanie cap in shame.
"Thanks, Janna."
"She looks out of it, Marco," Jackie said with a worried look on her face. "Go talk to her, dude. She's more likely to open up to you than me, considering she thinks I stole you from her."
"Go to her, Marco."
Marco gulped as he opened the door to Star's room. "Star? You in here?"
"Marco?"
"Yeah. I heard your song. That was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, wasn't it?"
Star nodded as Marco sat down on her bed. "I heard you sing it countless times and somehow I figured out how to play it. I figured it fit what I'm going through right now."
"Star, if it makes you feel any better, the dance was a total bust..."
"So you weren't there?" Star asked.
"How could I even think of being there without you, Star?"
Star perked up immediately upon hearing that Marco didn't go to the dance without her. She knew that Marco wouldn't forget about her! She had but one response for this..."Hugs?"
"Totally..."
Star and Marco hugged it out as Janna and Jackie looked on from the outside. "You do realize I'm blaming you for all this, Janna," Jackie told Janna.
"I know, Jackie," Janna said remorsefully. She just had to go to her clown seance. She tried to defend herself by saying that she wanted to see if the legends were true, but Jackie would have none of it.
As Jackie and Janna walked away, all they could see was Star and Marco....sleeping in the same bed after a long day.
Well, that's it! That's my interpretation of what happened after the events of 'Bon Bon The Birthday Clown'. I apologize for any spoilers. Just couldn't help myself! ROCK ON, EVERYONE!
